Rice MBA/ME Program
The rapidly expanding high-technology industry needs managers with the technical expertise to lead firms through periods of change and development. Students in the Rice MBA/ME program will learn to apply management strategies to these firms' unique needs.
The renowned Brown School of Engineering at Rice University collaborates with Texas Medical Center institutions and other Rice departments to provide research opportunities in industries such as nanotechnology, information technology, and biotechnology. Program Options
Admission Requirements
- All application materials for the MBA in addition to GRE scores
- All application requirements for the specific engineering department
Course Requirements
- 63 hours of coursework including 24 in an engineering discipline and 39 in business administration
- All core requirements of the MBA program
- All requirements of the specific engineering department (nonthesis degree options are available)
- Summer internships are strongly recommended
- Course schedules are planned in consultation with the MBA program and the specific engineering department
- All requirements can be fulfilled in two years
