Sarah Wooddy ’01
AVP Memorial Hermann Health System

Sarah Wooddy

Sarah has over 20 years of professional experience across multiple industries, including financial services, consulting, energy, and health care. In addition to an MBA, she holds graduate degrees in economics and social studies.

In her current role as an AVP of Revenue Cycle Operations, Sarah supports over a 100 physicians and mid-level providers of Mischer Neuroscience Institute. Part of the 13 hospital Memorial Hermann Health System, the Mischer Neuroscience Institute is the largest and most comprehensive neuroscience program in Texas that performs more neurosurgical procedures than any other hospital system in Houston and is nationally recognized for leading-edge medicine.

Volunteering to me is all about paying it forward. There have been so many people in my professional life that shared with me their experience and knowledge selflessly and unconditionally. It would be a shame not to be the same source of support to others who are changing their careers as so many in the MBA program. Making a difference, no matter how small, in someone’s career path is gratifying. Just being around such bright and driven individuals inspires me to be the best I can in my professional and personal life. My hope is that those who have been part of the mentoring program will be willing to pay it forward to those that come to the program in the future.

Sarah is paying it forward, volunteering this year as one of our outstanding 2016 Alumni Reunion Committee members. Please plan on attending our 2016 Alumni Reunion April 8-9 2016, and check out our web page here for all of the information and events.
