Requirements

• Desire to lead public schools in the Greater Houston Area
• Must be a Houston area educator and employed by a public school in the Greater Houston Area 
• Must be available to attend REEP classes on Thursday evenings, Fridays all day and Saturdays all day once per month. Must be able to attend all 3 consecutive days every month.
• Must have a master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university 
• Must have a strong graduate academic record (Typically a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale) 
• Must have at least two years of teaching experience and strong instructional background 
• Ideal candidates should have four to seven years of teaching or administrative experience
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Proven track record of success with students and proven or potential abilities as a leader 
• Desire to obtain or continue in school leadership positions in Houston's public schools
