Martin is vice president, commodities quantitative and fundamentals analysis, at Citigroup Energy and a professor at the Jones School. Prior to that he was manager of marketing, strategy and analysis at Shell Trading Gas & Power. A senior analyst with RWE Trading Americas and quantitative analyst with Citadel Investment Group, Martin has developed datasets and led analysis of emissions, plant outages, transmission and pipeline flows and availability for strategy development, forecast creation, and model input. He has served as associate director of East Power Fundamentals Group at UBS Warburg Energy and research manager at Enron Corporation. Martin earned a PhD and MSE at the University of Texas at Austin and a BS with honors at California Institute of Technology.
