"My CIMA appointment will be an excellent opportunity for the exchange
of ideas and I expect it to advance my research. Cardiff University is an
especially appropriate venue for the academic portion of this appointment as
senior faculty members are working in the area of interorganizational
management accounting.”
Dr.Anderson is currently a professorial fellow at the University of Melbourne. Her
research focused on the design and implementation of performance measurement
and cost control systems and spans the fields of management accounting and

supply chain partnerships drawn from Dr. Anderson’s recently published July and
September 2009 series in the American Accounting
Association journal, Accounting Horizons. She will present evidence
on how management accounting data and control systems have been adapted to
the environment of alliances and partnerships drawing on prior published
work as well as two ongoing research projects.
She serves as an editor of The Accounting Review and on the editorial boards of the
Accounting Organizations and Society, Production and Operations Management, and
